Four Things to Consider For Your Posters
Now, what I’m going to talk about can be applied to more than just custom poster printing, but for the sake of this article I’m going to focus my attention primarily on this topic. The reason being is that I find it easier to discuss the exact nature of what you need to do with various advertising by having a solid example to work with. On this occasion it will be color posters.
So what are these things to consider?
The first is the way you’re going to get a person’s attention. With poster particularly you need to be able to reach out to be and grab their eye. You have to give them a good reason to look over and consider what you have to say. Usually images are going to be the best way to get a person to look at your poster.
An image and get through to a person much faster than words ever can, and a poster is large enough so that you can have a very nice, impressive image on your poster. However, a strong headline is able to hook someone if it’s short enough and goes directly to the point.
The second thing you need to do is grab their interest. Okay, so how is this different? The way you get their attention is merely a way of making them look at that poster. They haven’t actually read anything yet, they’re just looking over at the poster. Now you need to give them a reason to keep looking.
Get right to the point of your poster as fast as possible. Make sure that all it takes is a few seconds for them to know exactly what you color posters are trying to say. If no one bothers to read anything than you just wasted your time on poster printing, so make sure you keep things simple.
The third thing is to keep your poster centered around them. Maybe you’re selling a product or offering a service, but you have to explain why they want to use this. You got their attention, you have their interest, now make sure you can tell them why they personally should care about what you have to say.
Lastly, make sure you tell them what they need to do next. Your poster needs to end with some form of a call to action. Do they need to go out and buy something, call you today, set up an appointment? Let them know and tell them to do it. Finish strong to hold their attention.
As I said before, all of this can be used for a lot more than custom poster printing alone. These four details should be included in any kind of advertising you do.
