MRP Management (Manufacturing Resource Planning Management)
MRP management is a very complex management planning system. It is ussually combined with very expensive and complex softwere. Of course many inteligent people are needed to make it work. MRP stands for manufacturing resource planning management. It is a method for very detailed resources planing in production process of a company.
MRP management is as I already said very compley topic and I am afraid I cannot give you enough information and explain it well enough for you to understand it totally. That is why I have searched the web for a very good book I have read about MRP management and here is the link to it on amazon, where you can buy it at a very low price. Currently it’s in action and I belive that this is money well spent. Very good investment in yourself. Here is the link:
Note that this is a high quality science book that is worth way over 100 $. But you can get it for only like 50 $.
But before I stop writting, I would like to point ot a difference between MRP management and MRP2 management. In first case MPR stands for Material Requirements Planning and is used for material planning only. While the second MRP (MRP”) stands for Manufacturing Resource Planning. What is this important? Well it gets ver confusing becouse first it was material requirements planning and then it was manufacturing resource planning. Material requirements planning is not used anymore when using “MRP management” word. MRP always stand for manufacturing resource planning, even though it would be correct to use MRP2 management.
Now to put it all shor, what is MRP management? It is planning of all resources used in a manufactoring company.
