Personal Success Story
First I would like to point out that this is not my personal success story. It is a success story of one of my friends who had a great idea which seemed very crazy on the beginning but it became a huge success in USA. You’ll probably laugh at it when I tell you about it but I would like to point out that even if an idea is very very crazy it can become a great success. Why did he succeed? Because he made it happen even though I really really think it’s a very crazy idea

Have you ever heard of a product named Pet rocks? I didn’t either. Until recently when I heard about this success story. Here is what happened… some guy found out that people have very little time to socialize because of their work. When they came home they wanted to have something or someone they could spend time with, chat, cuddle or something else. Pet was something that could do this job very well. But what was the problem? Those people did not have enough time to take care of a pet and feed it, walk it and to spend time with it. Pet would become an obligation to them so they usually didn’t get one.
He got an idea that I would not have guessed it will work if he has told me about it before it actually became a success story. He started selling stones to people as pets. And you know what? Those crazy Americans actually started buying them! He made a fortune out of selling rocks as human best friend. I know people probably didn’t buy them to talk to them, they bought them because they found it very funny that someone would actually sell rocks as pets. But you know what? That didn’t really matter to him. He didn’t care what people will do with those rocks, he sold them, he earned a lot of money and he was very happy.
One might say that this was not a success because of his idea. But that’s exactly what it was. It was a very crazy idea that he was not afraid to get into a reality. He thought he had something good and he made it happen. Playing it safe will not bring you success, no risk no gain. If you have an idea, of course analyze it first, but then make it happen.
