TDC Matrix of Internet Value
The Time Distance complexity (TDC) matrix of Internet value is a framework that is used to assess the value information technology. It also helps to find the value of internet. There are various areas where this matrix can be very helpful. They are:
- identification of the influence of controlling distance, time and complexity on creativity, knowledge and relations.
- recognition of the impact of controlling Time, Distance and complexity present with in the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard.
- the value of controlling Time, Distance and Complexity is created so that the attractiveness of an industry can be determined efficiently through which the value and competitive advantage can be created.
- the entire strategy process that includes strategic decision-making, strategy implementation, strategic analysis and vision mission can be used to assess the internet value.
TDC matrix was given by Tiggelaar. His framework is not just limited for the definition of complexity alone, but it is also capable of answering various questions that are required for the calculation of value and potential. This also helps to analyze the statistics of growth and also helps to perform strategic planning. There are various TDC matrix software tools to calculate the internet value. The TDC framework can be used to calculate the internet value. To calculate it the analysts require software tools. There are some inbuilt functions present which help in calculating the values that are based on this framework very easily. The values have to be collected, they are gathered from the market and fed, and thereby the results are obtained with the help of pre-defined functions.
There are various instructions that we must know before using the tools. The models and the frameworks are used to generate the ideas, goals and action plans. They are also used as base structures. Notes are added to make them grow and to match to your specific environment. The multi-directional node networks are built and pasted directly on the power-point presentations, word docs etc. The analysis does not involve viewing just one model. It uses many to draw out multiple issues, concepts and criteria. The software also helps to find what is appropriate; this software tells which model is most commonly associated.
