Types of Markets for a Company

When a company is estimating a demand for a certain product, it can look on market from many different aspects. By that, we know 5 different types of market. In this article, I will name them all and give a short description of each.

First we have “just a market”. This market is made out of all potential and actual buyers of a certain product (all people).

Then we have a potential market. Potential market is a market made of all people, who have showed interest in our product.

Avalible market are all people, who want the product and have enough money to buy it. They also must have access to the product, so with other words, people who want and can buy the product.

Next is targeted market. This is the marget segment or a part of the market that a company wants to reach. This is the market that a certain company targets.

Last is actual market. This is the group of people that actually buy that product.
